Let's give her
a reason to go.

JUNO PORTALS creates location-based experiences for women travelling alone.

We place digital portals across real destinations — on beaches, cliffs, streets, ruins, viewpoints and unexpected corners of a place.

Travellers discover them on a map.

But they can only open them by actually going there.

A woman walking alone towards Atlantic cliffs

There is something there.

Behind each portal is something worth the walk.

  • A story.
  • A woman.
  • A hidden history.
  • A dare.
  • A local secret.
  • A photograph.
  • A myth.
  • A small mission.
  • A relic.

We don't give women another itinerary.

We give them a reason to go.

The PORTALS map open on a phone

Built for the woman
who arrives alone.

Solo travel gives women an extraordinary amount of freedom.

It also creates a very particular question.

What do I do now?

She's checked into her hotel.

She's seen the obvious places.

She has an afternoon with no plans.

Nobody else is deciding where they go next.

PORTALS turns that empty space into possibility.

She opens the map. There is a portal 1.4 km away. She doesn't know exactly what's there.

So she goes.

That's the experience we build.

Not another travel guide.

The world doesn't need another list of the ten best things to do in a destination.

PORTALS works differently. We create a hidden experiential layer over places that already exist.

A staircase to a beach becomes a descent.

A forgotten ruin holds a story.

A viewpoint becomes a challenge.

A street introduces her to a woman who once lived there.

A local business might hold the final piece of an experience.

The destination itself becomes part of the story.

We don't tell travellers what to see.
We create something for them to find.

She's already here.

Women travelling alone are already booking flights, hotels, hostels, restaurants, activities and experiences around the world.

Much of the existing solo female travel ecosystem focuses on:

  • Safety.
  • Planning.
  • Accommodation.
  • Community.
  • Group trips.
  • Travel advice.

All of those things matter. But PORTALS starts one step later.

The question is no longer whether she should come.

What will she experience
now that she has?

A narrow Mediterranean street in late light

That's where you come in.

PORTALS is designed to live inside real destinations. That makes local partnerships fundamental to what we're building.

We want to work with people who know a place.

Hotels &
boutique stays

Give solo guests something to discover beyond the hotel.

A simple QR code at reception can become the beginning of an afternoon:

Travelling solo?
There are 7 portals around you.
The closest is 840 m away.

No tour schedule. No group booking. No staff coordination.

She scans. She goes.

Hostels, colivings
& coworking

PORTALS can give guests an immediate reason to explore their surroundings, alone or together.

Some portals are solitary.

Others can be designed for two women who met twenty minutes ago in a hostel kitchen.

Tourism boards
& destinations

PORTALS offers destinations a different way to speak to women travelling alone.

Not through another campaign telling her to visit. Through something she can actually do once she arrives.

A PORTALS destination layer can encourage travellers to discover lesser-known locations, move beyond overcrowded hotspots, engage with local stories, spend more time exploring, and experience the destination through a distinctive narrative.

We can create individual portals, curated trails or an entire destination layer.

Local
businesses

A portal doesn't always have to end where it begins.

A story might lead to an independent bookshop. A relic might be waiting inside a ceramics studio. A clue might be hidden in a café. A portal about scent might end with a local perfumer.

The business isn't an advertisement inserted into the experience.

It becomes part of the experience.

Culture
& creators

Museums. Archives. Galleries. Artists. Writers. Historians. Guides. Storytellers.

PORTALS can take stories that normally live behind walls, inside books or in local memory, and connect them to the physical places where they happened.

Especially stories about women that travellers might otherwise never encounter.

Partnership,
not ad placement.

PORTALS is not an advertising network disguised as a travel experience.

We don't want someone to walk 1.4 kilometres only to discover a sponsored message.

Every collaboration has to make the portal better because the partner is there.

That might mean access to a place. A story we couldn't otherwise tell. Local knowledge. A physical relic. An encounter. A hidden detail. A surprising ending.

Or simply bringing a traveller somewhere genuinely worth discovering.

The question is never: how do we put your brand into PORTALS?

What could we create here
that wouldn't exist
without you?

A portal can be very small.

Not every collaboration needs to become a destination-wide project. It could be:

  • One extraordinary portal
  • A five-portal neighbourhood trail
  • A collection for the guests of one hotel
  • A story connecting women-owned businesses
  • A temporary event portal
  • A seasonal experience
  • A hidden physical relic
  • Twelve portals across an entire region

The place determines the format.

Made for discovery.
Designed with solo travel in mind.

Mystery is part of PORTALS. But so is responsibility.

When we create experiences for women who may be exploring alone, we consider the reality of the location itself:

  • Accessibility.
  • Terrain.
  • Isolation.
  • Time of day.
  • Opening hours.
  • Connectivity.
  • The route to and from a portal.

And whether the experience makes sense for someone arriving there on her own.

A compelling portal should make a woman curious enough to go.
Never unsafe enough to regret it.

What could we build together?

01

The hotel

A boutique hotel places a PORTALS card in each room. A solo traveller scans it.

Seven portals appear around her. The closest is 840 metres away.

Her afternoon just changed.

02

The destination

A destination works with JUNO to create twelve portals connecting landscape, culture, local stories and lesser-known places.

Instead of merely marketing the destination, the campaign becomes something travellers can experience after arriving.

03

The museum

One story begins inside the museum. But it doesn't end there.

The traveller follows it through the city to the place where it actually happened.

04

The local founder

A portal leads to the studio of a local female founder. The final relic is waiting inside.

The business isn't an ad. It is the ending.

Different partners. Different places. Different portals. One principle:

Give her something
worth going there for.

A local studio, hands at work

Why JUNO?

JUNO is built around a simple idea: there has never been only one way to be a woman.

Our work draws from mythology, history, culture, art and the stories of women across time.

PORTALS brings that world into physical places.

A traveller might encounter Persephone at the bottom of a descent. Artemis on a remote path. A forgotten local artist on the street where she once lived. Or a woman whose name she had never heard before that morning.

We aren't interested in telling women who they should be.

We're interested in making the world around them richer to explore.

We're building
the first portals now.

JUNO PORTALS is being built destination by destination. That means we're looking for early partners who want to help shape what this can become.

Hotels. Hostels. Tourism organisations. Local businesses. Cultural institutions. Creators. Women with stories worth finding.

And people who know their corner of the world well enough to say:

You need to take her there.

Let's put
something on the map.

Tell us who you are.

Tell us where you are.

And most importantly: tell us what's there.

Tell us about your place, idea, story or the thing you think travellers should find.

We'll get back to you personally.
